Camp registration is processed in the order it is received and will be accepted until the camp is full.
ACCESSIBILITY AND INCLUSION
The Gallo Center for the Arts strives to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for students of all abilities. Parents are encouraged to provide complete information on the registration form and will be contacted by a member of our Education Department to discuss reasonable and respectful accommodations.
CONFIRMATION
You will receive an email confirmation of your registration within 24 hours of your registration. Further details will be emailed two weeks before camp begins.
REGISTRATION FEE
Creation Station summer camp is offered at a flat fee of $275.00 per camper. The camp is one week long (five days), Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are available. Please click here to apply. The deadline to apply for scholarships is Friday, April 12, 2024. Scholarships will be awarded by email on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations received two weeks prior to the start of camp will be refunded amount paid less a $25 processing/registration fee. Refunds are not available for cancellation requests received within two weeks of Creation Station summer camp. The registration fee must be paid in full at the time of registration. The Gallo Center reserves the right to cancel a camp session if enrollment is insufficient. In this instance, any amount paid will be refunded in full.
LATE PICK UP
Parents/guardians will be assessed a $10 charge if a child is picked up 15 minutes after camp ends, and an additional $1 per minute thereafter. Please pick up your child on time.
PARKING
The Gallo Center's 12th street parking garage is only available for performances and events. For camp drop off and pick up please use the free, two hour street parking available downtown.
BEHAVIOR POLICY
Please review the following with your child and ensure they understand the following expectations. Parents/Guardians will be immediately notified if:
- A child disturbs or hurts others, either verbally or physically.
- A child damages equipment or property.
- A child places himself/herself in a dangerous situation.
A student may also be asked not return to camp depending on the severity of their actions.
CELL PHONES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES
The use of cell phones, tablets, smart watches or video games are prohibited during camp sessions. If devices are seen more than once in a day they will be taken away from the student and returned to parent/guardian at check out. At times, students will be asked to check in their cell phones for safe keeping during rehearsals and/or performances. Minimal use of devices may be permitted during lunch breaks.
RELEASE AND CONSENT
I hereby give my child permission to participate in Creation Station summer camp activities. I fully assume all responsibility for injuries he/she/they may receive or articles lost while participating in these activities and herby release the Gallo Center for the Arts from any liability for any injury my child may sustain. I also give my permission to the Gallo Center for the Arts to use photographs or videos of camp sessions and performances that contain an image of my child for the limited purpose of promotion and advertising.
