Since the Gallo Center began presenting comedy in 2009, starting off with Dana Carvey, numerous major name comedians have performed here—almost all selling out. This season will bring comedy greats such as season opener Terry Fator, Ron White, Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood, Frank Caliendo, Men Are From Mars-Women Are From Venus LIVE!, S.F. Comedy Competition, The Capital Steps, Whose Live Anyway? The Comic Strippers, and more!

From the award-winning cast of dancers in An Irish Christmas to the dazzling UK-based BalletBoyz: Life, and Twyla Tharps 50th Anniversary Tour, you can experience some of the most thrilling dancers in the world—not to mention the exciting performances from Central West Ballet!

The robust Latino population in the San Joaquin Valley exerts a powerful influence on the Gallo Center for the Arts. From the greatest mariachi bands in the world, to the color and pageantry of the finest ballet folklórico companies, to such superstars as Gloria Trevi, Tex-Mex favorite Little Joe y La Familia Ballet Folklórico de Sacramento's La Ofrenda Dia de Los Muertos, and Mariachi Sol de Mexico: A Merri-Achi Christmas, we strive to present performances that embrace and celebrate the Gallo Center’s amigos throughout the region.

Holiday events include beloved concerts with Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical, country a capella band Home Free Holiday Show, Pink Martini's Holiday Spectacular, the illustrious group of child singers of The Vienna Boys Choir: Christmas in Vienna, Christmas With The Nelsons Starring Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, and what would Christmas be without the return of Dave Koz & Friends Christmas Tour 2016 to round out the holiday season!

From captivating dramatic plays to inspiring one-person shows to enlightening speakers, The Gallo Center is proud to offer an incredible variety of theatre plays and spoken word entertainment. This season is the debut of our new Gallo Center Repertory Theater series featuring dramatic theater plays such as The Diary of Anne Frank, The Exonerated, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and more. Chris Lemmon: A Twist of Lemmon, Sankofa Theatre Company's Colored People's Time and The Christmas That Almost Wasn't are among the other upcoming theatrical performances.
