Costa Family Fund
What is the Costa Family Fund?
A fund that was established by the Costa Family at the Gallo Center for the Arts
to support programs and projects that provides access to the performing arts for
underserved students. Along with their generous gift, many additional gifts have
been donated by local businesses and individuals to help sustain this fund so that
it can continue to support underserved youth for future years.
- Rental grants for local performing arts organizations and school performance groups
so they can use the theaters at the Center
- Ticket and transportation grants to local schools to help cover the cost of tickets
and busses in association with the Center’s Pathways to Creativity arts education
program
- Complementary tickets to the Center’s public performances for low-income junior
high and high school students
- Back-stage tours of the Center and Q&A sessions with artists and the Center’s
production staff
- Off-site artist performances and master classes with students
